When my kid exclaimed they were bored on the first day of summer break I knew I had to do something. I saw an idea for a boredom buster jar here -

I used this idea to come up with the Summer Fun Jar. Each day my kids will pick out a new fun idea to do that will hopefully keep them from getting bored. I created these cards that you can print off here -
Summer Fun Idea Jar
To create this jar...
- print the project
- cut out the cards

- glue the "Summer Fun Idea Jar" onto the jar

- Then put the cards in the jar and start the ideas! You can change the activities to fit your family. I just came up with some that would suit us best.

I would love to hear how you beat summer boredom!

ReplyDeleteGreat idea! If only my 3-year old and 18 month old would get bored! They never.stop.moving!
ReplyDeleteI have a 13 month and she keeps me on my toes. I have a great chore list now as well that helps keep the boredom blues away. :) I hope you have a wonderful holiday weekend.
