Lexi's Field Trip

We had a great but cold day.   Lexi's class went to Ikenberry Orchards in Daleville.  It was nice, but nothing like Layman's Farm.  They had little classes to teach the children about farming, and life in the 1800-early 1900's.  They did get to go on a hayride so that was nice.

These were two of the biggest pumpkins I had ever seen.  The picture doesn't show the true size.

This was the apple class.  They learned about different types of apples.  The apple she is holding was 1 1/2 pounds.  It was huge.  After Lexi sat down I had to remind her several times to pay attention.  She just replied, "When is lunch?"  She is such a Terry. :)

These are the two boys Lexi wants to marry when she's 30.  Evey week  it's a different one.  She did come home a couple weeks ago in tears because another girl in her class likes one of these guys.  Drama!  I really wasn't prepared for this drama to happen so soon.

We had so much fun with Lexi on her field trip!  We love our BIG girl!
