Resurrection Rolls
These rolls are so much fun to make, and very simple. You will need...
- 1/4 cup of butter
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 2 tablespoons of brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 8 marshmallows
- 1 can of crescent rolls
Preheat the oven at 350*
Melt the butter and add the brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix together. Unroll the crescent rolls and pull apart making 8 separate triangles. Spoon the mixture onto the crescent roll or dip the marshmallow into the mixture...either way works fine.
Roll up each marshmallow in the dough making sure every edge is tightly pinched. The marshmallow will leak through if the dough is not pinched together just right. You might put parchment paper underneath in case the marshmallow does leak out...it is very hard to get it off the pan. Place the remaining mixture on the top of each roll.
Bake for 10-15 minutes depending on your oven. After they have cooled the inside should look just like this. It is a fun way to talk through the burial and resurrection of Christ.

ReplyDeleteI'm a visitor from Courtney's blog, Women Living Well. We make those too and they are an Easter tradition in our house. We don't make a sugar and butter mixture though. Instead we just put a small pat of butter in the center, add the cinnamon and put the marshmallow on top. Call me lazy but it works for us! Have a happy Easter!
ReplyDeleteThanks Stefani for the great tip! I hope your family has a wonderful Easter celebration!!!
