Zambia Missions Trip Day Five

Our Pastor Mark and head Deacon Jim are in Zambia on a missions trip to train native Pastors.  Many of these Pastors have no formal training or even study tools to help them shepherd and lead the flock. This is a journey of their trip.

Yesterday I was able to hear a short blurb from Mark via voice message.  He also sent a couple pictures that I am sharing with you today.

"We only have a little hotspot today so I cannot talk long.  Today has been AMAZING!  I can't wait to tell you all about it.  Great great stuff!  But God is working and it is amazing to see how He worked in Luray to get us ready for what He has going on here."    Message from Mark today.

This is the American revival team.  Today they were meeting the Zambian revival team.

He shared that the team in Zambia has a picture up on the wall of our Academy's 6th-grade class making breakfast that raised money for the Pastors Conference.   They have been praying over you all for weeks.

This is my favorite picture of the day!  Isn't it SO wonderful to be a part of what God is doing here and around the world.  He is SO good to allow us to be a part!

Prayer:

  • Please pray that today God will use the team in a great way at a local school.
  • Please pray for the evening ministry in Charity's village.  The team will be ministering in music and Mark/Jim will be speaking.
  • Please pray that today no one will resist the will of God in their life so that God will be free to work in a mighty and unhindered way.
  • Please pray that God will pour out a spirit of revival there as the Word of God is proclaimed.   We are also praying for souls to be saved as it is God's will that men come to Him.
  • Please also pray for a great humility among the team and that they will use their words wisely.

Much love,
Valerie
