Breanna is 19 Months

Breanna turned 19 Months old yesterday.  I can't believe how big she is getting.  Everywhere we go people comment on how big she is or how tall she is.  When we were at the Doctors office with Lexie I had the nurse weigh Breanna and she was 31.5 pounds.

Breanna wore 2T clothes for less than a month and is now in 3T.  She wears a size 6 shoe (and loves them).   And we just moved her up to a size 5 diaper.  She has started going to the bathroom on the toilet a little bit which is so surprising to me.  I have a feeling it is because she is OCD.  She picks up her toys, puts things away, and if something is on the floor out of place she will put it in the trash can.  We have to make sure we check the trash can if something is missing.

Breanna is the pickiest eater we have had so far.  She pretty much only likes blueberries, pineapple, raisins, sausage gravy, pancakes, sometimes bananas,  spaghetti (not so much lately), and strawberries.  I keep trying things she doesn't like everyday.  Most of the time she refuses them, but sometimes she will surprise me by trying what I give her.  She is very stubborn and will not put anything in her mouth that she does not want to eat.

1 Year

Breanna is a great sleeper.  She will take one good nap a day and sleeps from 8:00pm until 8:00am most of the time.  I am so thankful.  We have spent many nights letting her cry herself to sleep because she was not a good sleeper at first.  I know many moms would never let their baby cry themselves to sleep, but it really worked for us.  It kept us sane and she still feels very loved by us.

1 1/2 years

She talks a lot, but most of the time not in words we can understand.   She can say ball, book, bye bye, Lexi, Garrett, Mommy, Daddy, Isaiah, thank you, bath, uh oh, shoes, nuh uh (no), and please.  Those are the words we can understand, but she talks non stop.

She has started doing the funniest thing and it makes me laugh every time.  If she has something on her hand she will walk around the house saying eeww eeeww while looking down at her hand.  It is quite comical.

We are enjoying this age very much.  She is learning new things every day and it is a joy to watch her personality develop...except on those days when she is completely rotten.  :)   We might not take any more trips for a while because she is at a very bad age for going places.  Actually all of the kids (except Isaiah) didn't do very well on our mini trip.  I have a feeling it was the after Christmas blues.  Does anyone else's kids get those?

I hope everyone has an awesome day.  The weekend is almost here again...this week has gone by so fast.
