Home Life Challenge Week 5

In our Patriarch journey the title for day one week two is, "The God Who Sees Me."   This lesson focused on Sarai's maidservant Hagar.  Hagar did not feel loved, did not have hope, and didn't have direction.  After Hagar's encounter with the True God she called Him, "The God who sees me."

Beth Moore says on page 39, "He sees when no one else cares to look. He sees through the smile we wear when we're dying inside.  He sees our hurt when we're mistreated.  He sees us when we cry into our pillow because we feel unloved.  He sees beyond our sin into the depth of our need.  He sees when we're hiding. Running..."

This week our challenge is to encourage a lady who is hurting and in despair.   If you do not have someone that came to mind ask the Lord to show you who He would have you encourage.

One way the Lord can show us His love is by the encouragement other believers give.  By our encouragement maybe another person will also see "the God who sees."

Stand firm,

Valerie
