Its Friday!

Today was such a wonderful relaxing day for us.  On Friday's Mark and I usually go on a date.  Well, a date with our chaperon Breanna.   Today she was being good while we were out so Mark and I were able to talk.  If you are a parent you know that there are times when you want to talk but are just unable because the kids take up all the talking time available.  Mark has been trying to tell me something for 1 1/2 days but couldn't because every time he tried someone would either start crying,  hurting, or talking.   I am sure you can relate!

Breanna has started saying cheese when we take her picture.  It is the cutest thing because she will get her picture taken and then run to the camera to see the baby.   This is such a fun age.  She is learning something new everyday and it is fun to watch all the light bulbs go off in her head.

I made this hair bow for her today to match her outfit.  It was the easiest hair bow I have made so far.  I have a feeling I will be making more of these in the future.  I will post a tutorial on how to make this hair bow next week.

*This picture is for my mom*  Mark doesn't think it is the best picture...so no one is allowed to look at it except my mom. :)   I wanted to show her the sweater she bought me for Christmas.  She bought me a couple of beautiful sweaters that just didn't fit right so I returned them and purchased this one with the money.  I got a really good deal so I can get a couple more.

*You might notice that we have not taken down our Christmas decorations yet.  This is the first year I haven't been anxious to get them down.  I am sure it is because we are in a slower paced town.  I have noticed so many people in town have not taken down their decorations yet either.  I guess we have to sometime, but I haven't planned a day yet.

I have a quick prayer request to share with you.  A lady in our church came by the house today and shared with me that a 21 year old boy in our area found out 2 days before Christmas that he has a very aggressive cancer and is not expected to live very long.  I don't know his name, but please pray for him and his family.
